The ISO 45001 Lead Auditor training course aids in the development of the necessary skill set to carry out occupational health and safety management system (OH&S MS) audits.

The successful completion of this training course is followed by an exam. If you pass the exam, you can apply for the “Exemplar Global ISO 45001 Lead Auditor” credential.

Course objectives

By the end of this training course, the participants will be able to:

1. Describe the core ideas and tenets of an ISO 45001-based occupational health and safety management system (OH&S MS).
2. From the auditor’s perspective, explain the ISO 45001 requirements for an OH&S MS.
3. Assess the OH&S MS’s compliance with the requirements of ISO 45001 in accordance with the basic audit concepts and principles.
4. Plan, carry out, and conduct an ISO 45001 compliance audit in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO 19011 guidelines, and other auditing best practices.
